“Personally, I am still really relishing the challenge of competing at such a high level and standard of competition, and to use my 10 plus years of senior football experience to help bring along the next generation of talented players in the region”.
Canberra Demons Head Coach Kade Klemke, said “Aaron’s (Bruce) leadership last year was terrific and the leadership Aaron has displayed during pre-season had positioned him well amongst his peers and Coaching staff to once again lead the Canberra Demons”.
“Aaron is our more experienced leader and has been in the NEAFL program for quite some time now. He knows what it takes to be a great player in this competition and has wealth of knowledge and experience”.
Kade Klemke also added, “I’m really excited heading into the 2018 season with the compilation of our list and the work the guys have done in pre-season. I personally can’t wait for the season to commence.
“We have a fantastic leadership group to assist leading the direction of the club from a playing perspective, but in saying that my expectation of the whole playing group is that they all lead”.
“We look forward to round 1 on Good Friday, and encourage people to come and watch the Canberra Demons in action against Southport”.
