Canberra recruit Nick Eynaud has suffered a pre-season setback, the former Sydney Swans Academy product sustaining a broken finger during a training drill last week.

The 19-year-old who joined the club from Sydney's Academy during this year's off season has "two, non-displaced fractures of the finger" after he was sent for scans on Tuesday.
"Often with this type of injury players can miss anywhere from four to six games during the season, it is likey Nick will be sidelined for the next month," Canberra Head Physiotherapist Liam Toohey said.
An update on Eynaud will be provided prior to the start of the 2019 NEAFL season.
