The Canberra Demons are delighted to announce the signing of 2018 Mulrooney Medalist Kel Evans on a two-year-deal.
The Queanbeyan Tigers midfielder was crowned the Mulrooney Medallist as AFL Canberra's best and fairest player at the league's awards night in September.
After been lured to football two years ago by Queanbeyan coach Dave Corcoran the 19-year-old quickly emerged as one of AFL Canberra’s most electrifying players.
Canberra Head-Coach Kade Klemke says Evans will provide the club with more midfield depth ahead of the 2019 NEAFL season.
“Kel really impressed us with his form in 2018, he has great character and is excited to help drive our young club forward,” Klemke said.
