Boxall, 22, said he was thrilled to be joining the Demons' after five seasons with the Wodonga Raiders in the Ovens and Murray competition.

“When Kade and Shaun approached me I didn't hesitate, it's a great opportunity for me to better myself as a footballer,” Boxall said.

“It’s a young, exciting and enthusiastic group and I’m just looking forward to playing my role next season."

Coach Kade Klemke said the Demons' were thrilled to secure Boxall's signature for next season.

"Ethan's versatility will be a tremendous asset to our young group next year," Klemke said.

“He's a player we've watched for a while and you could tell he was someone capable of playing at a higher level.

“He’s a quality person which is something we love at our club as well, we’re really happy to have him.”
