Canberra has made two list changes ahead of the 2020 season, Luke Jamieson departs after recieving a significant employment opportunity while Liam Lupton has been delisted.
After spending four years with NBL franchise the Illawarra Hawks, Jamieson switched to football at the end of 2018, opting to join the Canberra program not long after.
The 25-year-old managed three games for the Demons' in 2019 and will step away from football to pursue an employment opportunity in Mount Gambier next year.
Lupton was recruited from Eastlake in 2019, making his NEAFL debut in Round 13 against Aspley in Queensland.
The 20-year-old managed two NEAFL games in 2019.
General Manager of Football Shaun Young thanked the pair for their contributions to the Demons' program this year.
“On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Luke and Liam for their efforts during the year,” Young said.
“Luke displayed great dedication to the program, he was a popular player amongst the group and showcased great potential in short footballing career.
“Liam always maintained professional standards and showed commitment in his approach to developing his football career.
“We wish both Luke and Liam all the best in their future endeavours.”
The club has now made the following changes to its list:
Delisted – Liam Lupton
Retired – Sam Martyn, Ben Halse and Tom Faul
Other – Connor Owen-Auburn and Luke Jamieson
