Mitch Maguire currently leads the NEAFL's MVP count!

Canberra star Mitch Maguire has become the new NEAFL MVP Award leader after polling seven votes in the Demons’ win over NT Thunder on Saturday night.


The 20-year-old onballer, who is also nominated for the 2018 Tribal Sport NEAFL Rising Star Award, collected 32 disposals and four clearances in Canberra’s 65-point victory.


Maguire leads the race by one vote ahead of Southport midfielder Josh Clayton, who jumped to a season-high second place after attracting eight votes in the Sharks’ win over Redland.
